The phone rings during the rush.
Fenna takes the order.
The digital receptionist for takeaways. She takes the order, reads it back, agrees a collection time and puts it through. You stay at the wok.
Two chicken nasi and one spring roll, can I collect at half seven?
Half your takings come in over two hours. That's exactly when the phone goes, and every time you answer there's something waiting in the pan.
A customer who gets the engaged tone doesn't ring twice. They open an app and order from the place two streets over, and you never know they were there.
A number heard wrong, a sauce forgotten, a collection time nobody confirmed. That costs a dish, a customer, and ten minutes at the counter.
FENNAArda Wok, Fenna speaking.
CUSTOMERTwo chicken nasi and a spring roll please.
FENNATwo chicken nasi and one spring roll. What time would you like to collect?
FENNAThat's down under Doyle: two chicken nasi and a spring roll, ready at half seven.
She invents nothing off the menu.
Fenna only orders what's actually on your menu. If someone asks for something you don't do, she says so honestly rather than taking it and leaving you with it. She reads the order back before she puts it through, because confirming once is cheaper than a wrong dish. And she won't set a collection time outside your opening hours: she offers one that works instead.
No tables, no diary.
A takeaway doesn't take reservations, so those functions aren't in her toolkit here. She cannot book a table, even if a caller asks: she'll say you're collection only. What she takes lands on your dashboard and in your inbox, with the dishes, the quantities, the name and the collection time. Through Zapier you push it on to your till or your kitchen screen.

We're on Deliveroo and Just Eat. What's in this for me?
You keep them. The difference is the margin: what comes in over the phone is yours, with no commission on it. Your regulars are the ones who ring, and those are the orders you least want to hand to a platform. Fenna makes sure they get through when it's busy.
How do I know the order is right?
She reads it back before she records it, quantities included. Anything she can't find on your menu she won't take. And you see the order yourself on the dashboard and in your inbox, so you're not relying on a summary.
Can she book a table if someone asks?
No, and that's deliberate. For a takeaway the reservation functions aren't in her toolkit, so she cannot accidentally promise a table you don't have. If you do both, collection and reservations, we set you up as one business with both paths.
