FOR INDEPENDENT GARAGES

The mechanic is under a car.
Fenna picks up.

The AI receptionist for independent garages and workshops. She books MOTs and services in, asks which service you mean, and never invents a price for parts.

I'd like to bring the car in on Thursday for the MOT, can you do nine o'clock?

The drop-off rush

At half eight there's a queue at the counter with keys in hand. The phone rings on and there's nobody free to take it.

The pick-up rush

Between five and six they come for their cars and want to know what it came to. That's exactly when somebody else rings about an MOT.

A mechanic isn't a receptionist

Whoever does grab the phone is usually under a car or standing at a lift with oily hands. That call stays short, and the appointment becomes a note that goes missing.

CALLERI'd like to bring the car in on Thursday for the MOT.

FENNAWe can do that. Thursday at nine is free and the MOT takes half an hour. Shall I put that in?

FENNAThat's you booked, Doyle: MOT on Thursday at nine.

She won't quote a price she doesn't know.

The labour rate and the fixed prices for an MOT or a service are settled, so she just says them. The price of parts isn't: a mechanic has to look at the car first, and that is exactly what she answers. She won't invent a figure to sound helpful. And if the caller only says they want a service, she asks whether it's the interim or the full one instead of picking for them.

Your planning stays yours.

Fenna doesn't touch your workshop planner. What she takes lands on your dashboard with the name, the number and what needs doing, and through Zapier you can push it into whatever system you actually work in. Booked out two weeks ahead? Then this isn't extra work, it's a counter that keeps running when nobody's standing at it.

Hear Fenna answer your front desk.

  • We ring you back within one working day.
  • We set Fenna up on your jobs, lead times and rates.

Does this connect to my workshop planner?

No, and that's deliberate. We don't touch your planning, because it's yours and it works. Fenna takes the call and notes who rang and what for; you or your receptionist put it in when it suits. Through Zapier those notes can be pushed across automatically.

We're booked out for weeks. What's in it for me?

Then we're not selling you more customers. What you get is that nobody rings for nothing at half eight or at five, and that you end the day with one list instead of three notes and a missed call. If you're not booked out, there's a revenue side too, but that isn't the argument we lead with.

Can she quote for a repair?

For the fixed things, yes: an MOT, an interim or full service, tyres, air conditioning. For work that has to be looked at first, no, and she says so. She won't invent a figure. Brakes, exhausts or fault-finding you do of course handle; for those she puts a slot in or takes a call-back note.
